Nick Thomas, CSC is an award-winning cinematographer with over two decades of experience in the film and television industry. He is a proud member of ICG 669 and the Canadian Society of Cinematographers, and has established himself as a highly skilled and versatile cinematographer with an impressive range of projects.

Nick’s portfolio includes work as the alternating DP for two seasons on the CBS series Nancy Drew, as well as contributions to productions that have aired on major networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS, CW, Paramount+, Hulu, CBC, Global, CTV, ESPN and MTV.

Nick has completed four feature films, Mindwave, The Curse of Audrey Earnshaw, Jonesin’, and Ice Blue – all of which have received critical acclaim for their visual style and storytelling including nominations for Best Cinematography in Theatrical Feature Film from Canadian Society of Cinematographers and Best Cinematography Debut from Camerimage.

Nick’s approach to cinematography is marked by his passion for his craft, keen eye for detail, and collaborating effectively with directors and other creatives. He is known for his ability to adapt his style to fit the needs of each project and for his use of lighting and composition to create powerful visual storytelling.
