Nick Thomas, csc is an award-winning Director of Photography with over two decades of experience in the film and television industry. He is a proud member of ICG 669 and the Canadian Society of Cinematographers, and has established himself as a highly skilled and versatile cinematographer with an impressive range of projects.
Nick’s portfolio includes work as the alternating DP on the CBS series Nancy Drew for two seasons, as well as contributions to productions that have aired on major networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS, CW, Paramount+, Hulu, CBC, Global, CTV, ESPN and MTV.
Nick has completed four feature films, MindWave, The Curse of Audrey Earnshaw, Jonesin’, and Ice Blue – all of which have received critical acclaim for their visual style and storytelling including nominations for best Cinematography in Theatrical Feature Film from Canadian Society of Cinematographers and Best Cinematography Debut from Camerimage.
In addition to his work in film and television, Nick has also collaborated with numerous high-profile commercial clients, including 3M, Audi, ATB, Bayer, BMW, Infiniti, Heineken, Herschel, Mercedes Benz, McDonald’s, TEDx, Siemens, WestJet, and Volkswagen.
